Our Process
Built by Hand. Finished to Last a Lifetime.
Every Artisan Table Co. piece passes through four precise stages before it leaves our workshop floor.
Sourcing Raw Materials
We travel to certified sustainable forests and specialty lumber mills across North America and Europe. Every slab is hand-selected for grain figure, moisture content, and structural integrity.
Precision Cutting & Milling
Using industrial CNC routers and traditional hand tools in tandem, our craftsmen mill each slab to exact tolerances. Joinery is hand-fitted — no staples, no shortcuts. Every cut is measured three times.
Epoxy Pouring & Curing
Our UV-resistant crystal-clear epoxy is mixed in controlled batches and poured in multiple layers — up to 3 inches deep per pour for river tables. Custom color matching available. Cure time: 72 hours minimum.
Sanding, Finishing & Final Polish
Starting at 80-grit and working up to 3000-grit wet sanding, each surface is hand-polished to a glass-like clarity. Options: Matte Oil, Satin Lacquer, or High-Gloss Epoxy Topcoat. White-glove delivery included.
