How It Began
2019 — The Spark
Founded in a small workshop in Tamil Nadu, Nilal Arts began as a personal obsession with the fluid movement of liquid resin and raw grain of live-edge wood. Early experiments were messy, costly — and thrilling.
2021 — First Commission
Word spread. The first commissioned river table shipped to a client in Chennai, triggering a backlog of requests that validated the brand's market fit for premium bespoke furniture.
2023 — Academy Launch
Demand for knowledge matched demand for product. The Resin Arts Academy opened, teaching hands-on courses to aspiring artists, interior designers, and hobbyists across India.
2025 — Today
500+ tables delivered. 1,200+ students trained. The studio continues to grow — with every pour as intentional and unique as the last.
